Connection - Cold Brew Blend
If you've spent a summer in Austin, you know cold brew isn't optional—it's survival. Greater Goods Roasting designed Connection specifically for the cold brew process, blending sustainably sourced beans from Colombia and Brazil to deliver smooth, chocolatey richness with creamy caramel sweetness and a finish as clean as a Kit-Kat snap. This is the same coffee served in restaurants and cafes across Austin and beyond, now available to brew at home.
Tasting Notes
Connection opens with creamy caramel and milk chocolate, evolving into Kit-Kat wafer notes with a smooth, lingering finish. The blend's high natural sweetness balances beautifully with low acidity, making it exceptionally forgiving whether you drink it black or add oat milk and honey. The body is round and full without heaviness—exactly what you want from a cold brew that stays refreshing from first sip to last.
Brew Methods
While Connection was born for cold brew—where its chocolate and caramel notes bloom over a 12-16 hour steep—it's surprisingly versatile. Try it as espresso for a sweet, low-acid shot that shines in milk drinks, or brew it hot through a French press for a full-bodied morning cup. Pour over and drip methods work well too, though cold brew remains where this blend truly excels. For cold brew, we recommend a coarse grind and a 1:8 coffee-to-water ratio.
About the Roaster
Greater Goods Roasting is an Austin-based roaster committed to sustainability and community connection, sourcing ethically and roasting with intention. Their Connection blend reflects both the city's coffee culture and their dedication to accessible, delicious coffee.
