Tasting Notes
Expect warm graham cracker sweetness on the nose, followed by a smooth cocoa body with subtle earthy undertones. The acidity is gentle and rounded, making this an exceptionally easy-drinking cup. The finish is clean with lingering notes of baked grain and chocolate—perfectly calibrated to reset your palate between bites without overwhelming delicate flavors.
The medium roast strikes an ideal balance: developed enough to bring out caramelized sugars and chocolate tones, but light enough to preserve the coffee's inherent sweetness and clarity.
Brew Methods
Donut's Friend shines in drip coffee makers and pour-over methods, where its balanced profile and medium body come through beautifully. It's equally excellent in a French press, where the fuller immersion extraction highlights the blend's cocoa richness. While not specifically designed for espresso, it pulls a surprisingly sweet, approachable shot that works well in milk-based drinks.
