S.O. Blend
Coava Coffee Roasters' S.O. Blend is the kind of coffee that earns a permanent place on your counter. Born from years of direct relationships with producers across Colombia, Brazil, and Ethiopia, this blend reflects the best of what each origin brings to the cupāchocolate depth from Brazil, bright fruit from Ethiopia, and smooth caramel structure from Colombia. It's a daily drinker that never feels ordinary.
Tasting Notes
Expect rich, dark caramel sweetness balanced by milk chocolate and a hint of dried fruit. The body is medium to full, with a velvety mouthfeel that coats without overwhelming. Acidity is gentle and roundājust enough brightness to keep things interesting. The finish lingers with cocoa and a whisper of stone fruit, clean and satisfying.
Brew Methods
The S.O. Blend shines across methods, which is why Coava offers it in both drip and espresso roast profiles. For espresso, it pulls sweet and creamy with excellent crema, standing up beautifully in milk drinks while remaining balanced as a straight shot. For drip, pour over, or French press, the drip roast opens up the fruit notes while maintaining that signature chocolate-caramel core. It's forgiving on grind size and water temperature, making it ideal for dialing in a new grinder or experimenting with brew ratios.
