The SSP burrs, developed by CEO, Sung Sim (where they get their name SSP, Sung Sim Precision), are steel-based burrs that are guaranteed to last a lifetime for a home barista, as they are able to grind up to 10,000 pounds of coffee.
These 64mm burrs come in three variants:
Espresso — These espresso-focused burrs focus on grind precision and uniformity and are ideal for medium and dark roasted coffees.
Multi-purpose — These burrs have added flat surfaces which produce more fines at espresso settings. They are intended to grind for all brew methods and excel at filter coffee and light roasts.
Brewing — This set of burrs produces a smooth, sweet flavor which is great for filter brewing.
