Weirdo

Weirdo

Weirdo is Cirque Coffee Roasters' heart and soul—a Guatemala blend that's been anchoring their menu since day one. Sourced directly from the farms of Christian Starry and Mario Melendez, this coffee splits the difference between half natural process and half washed process beans, creating something genuinely unusual: a coffee that tastes like trail mix in the best possible way.

Cirque roasts this for versatility and consistency. It's what they brew every morning at their shops, and what they turn to when they want something reliably excellent. The blend changes slightly with each harvest (this is version five), but the character remains: nutty, fruity, approachable, and a little off-center in all the right ways.

Tasting Notes

Expect strawberry sweetness from the natural process lot, balanced by the clean peanut and cocoa tones of the washed beans. Medium body with bright-but-not-piercing acidity. The finish is smooth and lightly chocolatey, with just enough fruit to keep things interesting. Think chocolate-covered strawberries meets honey-roasted peanuts.

Brew Methods

Weirdo shines as batch brew—it's designed for that—but it pulls a solid shot of espresso with or without milk. Pour over fans will appreciate how the fruit notes open up at slightly coarser grinds. French press brings out the nuttiness and body. If you want one bag that does everything well, this is it.
